Coming up next at American McDonalds for their Happy Meals, is Transformers RID.... using four of the five figures we got in Australia earlier this year, and the four character masks that were in Hong Kong at about the same time.

For two weeks at Coles, they have 20% off most (or all) toys, including Transformers... until October 3rd.

Most stores only have smaller figures like RID Legions, Rescue Bots Flipracers, and RID Tiny Titans, but the Movie Tiny Changers have been showing up recently as well.

At the European Licensing trade show in October, Hasbro have announced that the 2019 Movie will "unveil an entirely new, exciting storyline for Transformers"... and doesn't note it being TF6 or TF7, or any number in the series.

HasCon Arcee at ToysRUs US from October

The Titans Return Arcee (with Ultra Magnus head) was always noted as being just an advance release at HasCon, but it didn't guarantee that it would be released like the HasCon edition, or with the Ultra Magnus head.

Transformers shortlisted for Toy Hall of Fame for 2017

For the second year in a row, Transformers has made it to the shortlist on the annual Toy Hall of Fame induction list.
Only 3 of the 12 on the shortlist will be inducted, on November 9th in America.

Last year it missed out, so maybe this year it will get in.

Cartoon writer Len Wein dies at 69

He didn't contribute a lot to Transformers, with just four cartoon episodes to his name, but Len Wein was more famous to comic fans, with a long history with Marvel comics (he was even one of the writers included on the recent "Marvel 75th" documentary).
