    Default Masterpiece G2 Bumblebee (TRU AU import)

    I am now authorised to reveal that we will be getting MP G2 Bumblebee at TRU here. Hopefully he'll be around the $100 mark, same as previous imported MP cars.

    I'll upload some more details about the adaptation/translation work that I did when I get home tonight.

    Here's a summary of the work I did for this toy:
    * Translated header. Replaced the last line of text with motto in Latin. Original text reads "Transformers Masterpiece Cybertron Espionage Bumble G-2 Ver." -- which is already repeated in the header in English and thus I felt was redundant to repeat it in translation.
    * Translated vehicle mode bio.
    * Adapted robot mode bio, based on Anglophone canon.
    * Translated blurb about Bumblebee's weapon and equipment (laser gun & jetpack)
    * Finally corrected the spelling of "laser" (which TakaraTOMY misspelt as "lazer," and which Hasbro AP's translation of G1 MP Bumblebee's instructions failed to correct).
    * Translated instructions

    Why do I feel like this had already been confirmed beforehand?
    I'll update this when I'm needing help finding particular figures

    Why preorder it at $46 through an online store like HLJ when i can pay more than double that at TrU? All of this money in my wallet was giving me a sore back.

    i wouldn't be surprised if it was $129.99 like Bluestreak

    Just to clarify, I have no control over the price of this toy. When I said that I hoped that this toy would sell for $100, I meant in relation to the AU TRU RRP for previous MP Cars. It might've been better to say that I hope they don't charge over $100. Obviously it'd be better if it were cheaper. Still beats what they're charging for Bluestreak though.

    It great that we get an English translation and a OTCA member gets too contribute to a TF product ,but I personally do wish you don't push your own agenda in trying to put Latin into Transformers products.

    That is just me humble opinion and I think Hasbro was trying to be accommodating to you for your services. But keep up the good work!
