G1 bubble differences

As i am now venturing into the scary world of G1 MIB/MOSC collecting i have a question which i am hoping members can answer. One of my first targets is Tracks. I'm doing alot of research so i don't get burned but cant find any info on the below bubble differences.

As you can see in the item below the Tracks bubble is in the shape of the car.

Are they both legit?

I had no idea there are KO bubbles. I'm so glad I don't buy G1 toys other than the occasional reissues. Fear of all the KO stuff keeps me out of the G1 market.

Don't pay too much for Tracks, I have seen him regularly go for around $90 MIB in the past three months, not necessarily with bubble though.
I have a couple of of repro bubbles which I don't display my figures in, if they are original bubbles then the figures get displayed in their cozy home.

They're not as much KOs, just plastic that groups have made for convenience of display, although this is using it wrong.

I've purchased repro bubbles before for a couple of my G1s and while they certainly had a large rectangular flat part to glue to the cardboard, the major tell tale sign that they were repro was that at the edge of where the bubble space starts and the flat part there were permanent creases on the bubble that would not be there on an original. This was part of the forming process and unavoidable on the repro, but would not be present on an original. I would ask the seller for some closeups of the bubble space/lip interface and be on the lookout for creases on the bubble space.

I had a look at some AFA tracks samples where you could see the bubble edge through the front of the box and on some there I could see the rectangular edge that is present on the second one you're looking at. There were also two release runs of Tracks (apparently, I stand to be corrected) so it is plausible that a first run could have the short lip to glue to the cardback and a second run could have the large rectangular lip. Either way, good luck!

I never really paid that much attention to my G1 bubbles. They were just an obstacle to be ripped open when opening my MISB G1 TFs.

I wouldn't mind some Repro Boxes and Bubbles for some classic figures like the Seekers or Hot Rod with some G1 style. Those would look nice.

Or something like that display box that came with the special version of MP-09.
