EXCELLENT Cmdr class toy. Awesome little toy with a nifty transformation. THe hood of the car awesomely folds up and overthe top to become the chest - love the engineering here.

Both modes stand up great - almost no sacrifices were made for either mode:

DD, fortunately you can actually fold it back so it's not visible.

This figure is fantastic. The alt mode is pretty accurate with only some kibble underneath and the robot mode is near flawless, except when you look at his back, there is just a huge hole for the torso. But the robot mode is accurate and transformation is almost similar to the Voyager 1st Ed. Love it.

Also, the paint apps on these Cyberverse Commanders puts the deluxes and Voyagers to shame.

Ahh, nice! That would have annoyed me so I'm glad to hear you can fold them back. Like you say, it's nice to see that at least the smaller toys get some decent paint apps. Starscream actually has his red crest!

Here's some comparison pics to the 1stEd Voyager version:

Only real noticeable difference is the larger shoulder pads ont he commander version. Otherwise, proportions are great.

No complaints with the alt mode, the clear blue on the front of the car is a major plus on the Commander version.

Backend looks good, thanks to the red paint apps for the brake lights.

The only real downside to this figure is the hollow back. Otherwise, this is a real winner! Best of the Commanders.

This is for Ode to a Grasshopper :
