Can DOTM Leader Optimus Prime Combine with ROTF Leader Class Jetfire

Hi Everyone,

One of my cousins has started collecting the Leader Class DOTM Movie figures. I'm trying to help him with his collection. I dont collect the movie line and I was wondering if anybody can help me with this enquiry. Can Leader class DOTM Jetwing optimus Prime (minus his jetpack) combine with Leader ROTF Jetfire. I've noticed on some reviews that the ROTF version of prime is virtually the same as the DOTM counterpart.

I'm going to assume that the leader ROTF Optimus prime has special ports to attach Jetfire's components, but if anyone out there has successfully experimented with this combo, I'd be happy to hear from you.

There is some retooling on Jetwing Optimus but I don't see why they wouldn't combine. It's basically the same toy.

Jetfire also straps to ROTF Optimus' chest window which DOTM OP doesn't have. Now I'm curious also!

from the youtube reviews the main differences are,

Chest,
Crotch n butt and some tabs on the arms(which are modified so the jet pack and accessories can attach to it). But does this hinder Jetfire power up?
