Fixing KO Binaltech Hummer ankle joint - Help! (pics)

Hi, I just got a KO Binaltech Hummer (red), and both of the plastic tubes/pin casings with make the ankle joint broke on transformation (too tight i guess). I have the foot piece pretty much wedged in there, but i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to repair this.

The piece is hard plastic, and it pretty much bent and cracked off. I tried to superglue the 2 pieces which shattered off, but its too tiny, and it wont pivot. I believe this is the same basic model of the binaltech Hound if that helps.

Any suggestion would be awesome!
