Since we do such a great job hunting tf figures, thought we could put our resources together for a greater cause!

Dunno what it'll be like elsewhere, but here in NW Tassie a lot of people seem to have overlooked the $2 shops as sources of pasta/toilet paper/etc, or at least they had last week.
If you're almost out of the usual hoarding consumables, trying the Reject Shop etc might deliver better results than supermarkets.

As I understand it a few of the radio stations here in Perth are reporting restocks in big shopping centres, which inevitably leads to it all being gone within 10 minutes.
I've taken a stroll through the local IGA near my folks place every lunch break this week and it's always been empty.

Nothing at Katoomba Coles and Woolies or at IGA Springwood

Too soon!
Haven't seen toilet paper in the shops since before the Long Weekend.

your best bet is to get up super early and queue up before the shops open.

Don't forget the seniors early opening times, perhaps send in your folks in first to see if they have a better chance ;)

Umm, you do know they used to use newspaper before toilet paper, right? It's not the end of the world.

Your best bet is for the delivery trucks to visit the warehouses 24/7 to pick up the toilet rolls.
For that to happen the government needs to pass legislation that says " To hell with noise complaints, these trucks need to deliver the goods!"

I think it’s bad news for your plumbing if you use newspaper. Didn’t matter so much in the days the nightsoil man came.

Actually a lot of countries? plumbing can?t even handle normal toilet paper. I?ve been to Italy and Peru where you don?t flush the TP down the loo, you put in an enclosed bin next to the toilet. So yeah, the newspaper/phone book paper could totally work.

It would be really annoying if when they did get stock on the shelves it is only the first wave.

(Un)fortunately that's true. The ACCC tried to stop Kleenix from claiming that their "flushable wipes" were flushable, as they didn't break down like toilet paper, and was clogging up sewer lines.
At the end of last year, my worksite removed paper hand-towels from the restrooms, because people were using them instead of toilet paper, and the sewer system got clogged twice.

Or the Yellow Pages. Probably explains why the Escort section was missing in the shared house in my younger days.

Or skip to Wave 3 with limited distribution.
