I don't mind Shockwave, Dragstrip and Breakdown.

- Cliffjumper
- Deadend
- Breakdown

Elite Class
- Smokescreen
- Dragstrip

The Scouts look like anorexic supermodels... :(

(only five Elites left to reveal for the entire first series - we now know all the others in the other size classes)

It's worth noting that the original MTV link has a full size image of Shockwave, and an alternate transformation for the jet mode... which doesn't look as good as having the classic Gen1 gun-barrel front of the image mirrored at the Seibertron site.

I'd happily grab Breakdown, Smokescreen, Drag Strip and Shockwave. Dead End just looks weird as usual (can they please decide what they want him to look like? He looks different in every incarnation), Cliffjumper has the skinniest neck imaginable and for some reason Silverbolt has Wheeljacks facial wings.

I do not want. But i hope the plastic and those c-clips can take a bit of stress.

After seeing the vangulus video over at tfw2005 (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/constructabots-46/transformers-constructabots-hands-on-video-177923/) I'm really looking forward to the release of these toys. The C clips actually ratchet and the ball joints are, "co-molded" meaning they cast the hard plastic part first and then cast the rubber ball over that (Lego uses a similar method to make the dice for their games.)

I see a lot of versatility for this kind of construction toy, imagine a GI Joe line similar to the old sigma 6 line that came with a weapons case, or even using the pieces to build an exo suit for a 3.5 inch Joe figure or a Star Wars figure? Yes I'm aware that the original SW TF's came with forgettable mini figures.

They look like LEGO Bionicle / Hero Factory figures with Transformer heads.

Which makes me wonder if the ball joints would fit nicely with the LEGO sockets? IF so, this could open up a whole world of LEGO TF hybrid MOCs...

Not too sure. They're starting to appear on shelves in the UK and US so maybe someone will do a review. To me the constructabot ball joint looks smaller than the Lego ball joint.
